In a near-future Britain, freedom is a memory. The nation is ruled by the iron fist of a fascist state, its people silenced by surveillance and fear. But on the 5th of November, a single, explosive act of defiance ignites a revolution.

He is "V", a charismatic, articulate, and brilliant freedom fighter hidden behind the enigmatic smile of a Guy Fawkes mask. He wages a theatrical, one-man war against the regime that created him, seeking to awaken a nation from its long, complacent slumber. 

When he rescues a young woman named Evey from the secret police, he draws her into his shadowy world of vengeance and a meticulously orchestrated plot to give the country back to its citizens. 

 is a visceral and intelligent thriller about the power of a single idea to topple an empire and prove that even in the face of tyranny, some things are truly bulletproof.

Ticket purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. The ticket facility, service, and processing fees charged on this event are for the administration, operations, and other expenses associated with the event (including but not limited to the ticketing and sales platforms), and will be retained by The State Theatre. If an event is postponed or rescheduled, the ticket will be honored for the rescheduled event date, and a refund will be made available. Shipping, processing, and service fees are NOT refundable.

This yearly partnership between Schlow Library, and The State Theatre invites families of the community to beat the heat and enjoy the comfort of our theatre!  Registration is preferred, but walk-ins will be accepted!
