A thousand years after civilization’s fall, the last pockets of humanity huddle in fear of the Sea of Corruption, a toxic jungle guarded by giant insects. But Princess Nausicaä, of the peaceful Valley of the Wind, sees wonder where others see only a wasteland. With empathy and curiosity, she believes a path to coexist with this strange new world is possible.

Her ideals are shattered when a militaristic empire invades her home, determined to resurrect an ancient weapon and wage all-out war against the jungle. Nausicaä must now stand against a world consumed by hatred, armed only with her glider and a radical belief in the power of understanding.

If an event is postponed or rescheduled, the ticket will be honored for the rescheduled event date, and a refund will be made available. Shipping, processing, and service fees are NOT refundable.

This yearly partnership between Schlow Library, and The State Theatre invites families of the community to beat the heat and enjoy the comfort of our theatre!  Registration is preferred, but walk-ins will be accepted!
