Family connections, and the lack thereof, are frequently a source of intense feelings around the holidays. For Angus Tully (a revelatory Dominic Sessa), the nightmare of being abandoned in his stuffy boarding school over Christmas break is amplified when he and the other “holdovers” are left in the care of the least popular teacher in school, Paul Hunham.
