The Nittany Knights have done it again, with the latest production in their annual spring show series. This year’s show, entitled 

, features traditional and contemporary tunes in a fun and upbeat performance. In addition, we are excited to feature, by special invitation, the 2024 International Barbershop Harmony Society GOLD Medal Quartet Winners, 

 is a dynamic vocal quartet from Central Florida that brings a variety of musical styles to the scene. With backgrounds in barbershop, doo-wop, vocal jazz, and gospel music, the quartet enjoys a diverse repertoire and delivery.

The quartet is led by Tony De Rosa, who currently serves as Music Director for the Voices of Liberty at Disney’s EPCOT, the Dapper Dans of Disney World at the Magic Kingdom, and as Vocal Director for “Finding Nemo the Musical” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom He has also led the acclaimed a cappella group, Voctave.

, including students from State College High School, Mount Nittany Middle School, and Park Forest Middle School.

The Nittany Knights chorus is an a cappella ensemble of 25 men led by director Patricia Andriaccio, performing contemporary arrangements of popular tunes as well as traditional barbershop favorites. The Knights have been entertaining audiences in the Centre Region since the mid-1960’s.

This yearly partnership between Schlow Library, and The State Theatre invites families of the community to beat the heat and enjoy the comfort of our theatre!
